A walk through Rome disappeared

Description

You cannot say you have visited Rome if you have not walked through the streets of the most famous district of ancient Rome that is also the heart of the historical centre of the eternal city: Trastevere.

This is the starting point for a photography tour in which you will be guided by one of our knowledgeable guides who will explain the history, traditions, historical value of the places and by our professional photographer who will capture the most beautiful moments of your day, immortalizing them with his camera. You will walk through famous streets lined with ancient craftsmen’s workshops and filled with many “trattorias” (typical, small restaurants) and pizzerias, and then you will go down to the bank of the Tiber River. Walking along the bank, you will reach the St. Angelo Bridge (Ponte S. Angelo) that once was the only direct access to St. Peter’s Basilica from the city. The castle overlooking the bridge owes its name to the statue of the Archangel, Michael, standing on the top.

After walking along the medieval streets of the Borgo district, you will arrive at Piazza del Popolo (People’s Square), an excellent example of architectural “stratification”, which is common in the Eternal City where a succession of popes has caused changes in both construction and roads. Our visit will not end until our photographer, Franco, has taken a series of memorable photos taking advantage of the marvellous setting created by the twin fountains and the three churches. At the end of the day, you will be given all the photos saved in multimedia format. Don’t loose the opportunity to visit the most famous Rome attractions.
